This is a meta-blog, containing information about the three blogs written by Weaver:
- The Snow in the Summer or So-So, a general purpose blog
- A Glicko Sports Blog, applying the work of Mark Glickman to sports ratings, particularly European football and NCAA-ball.
- This is Weaver, a closed blog for invited readers only. Those who wish to read this blog will need to create an account, and will find further instructions here.
Each post contains a link to the main article, categories about the main topics of discussion, and a brief summary of the content. A monthly archive of titles only is available as Partially Melted Snow Balls. The front page will display 50 posts; in normal activity, this represents around three weeks' posts.
In general, comments for these posts are disabled, for each of the other blogs has its own commenting system. Only if those comments prove unreliable, or if we engage in any liveblogging, will this site act as a substitute. The standing comments policy has been published.
The primary purpose of this system is to enable the writer to refer back to previous work on a similar topic; it may also help those who wish to read the entire output. The inclusion of a private sub-blog is an expansion of the original project.
This project began in September 2007; no data prior to that date has been entered, and we do not anticipate doing so.
We reserve the right to amend or discontinue this project at any time.
